People remember Goshman for his salt & pepper shakers, Norm Nielsen for the coin ladder and floating violin...........and anyone that's been around long enough will remember Chris for his coins through silk. As Dominic states, Chris has really made this trick his own.

This clip is also a master class for all of us re: timing. It demonstrates beautifully the correct PACE that tricks of this nature need to be deployed in order for the full effect to sink in with the audience. Note how each phase gets a great reaction, rather than just a smattering of polite applause at the end.

Thanks for posting JJ.

Hi
I can't see a way to send you a private email; so I'll make it public.
With your publication of an online Opus, I've been up to my loft to dig out my old copies and put them in a binder.
What fun!
Thank you so much for keeping that history. For me it is a record of my early development in magic. And tinged with sadness for those performerss who looked so promising, and yet for some reason never made it big....

One question: while I remember you giving me a copy of the final issue, for some reason I've lost it; do you have any spare, so I can complete my file?

Well, that's just lovely.

Is Chris stilll doing this?

It really speaks volumes to Vernon's advice about taking a trick and making it your own.

Very interesting site - never came across opus before but it sounds very interesting. Trouble is, I need to lie down now. My head is spinning after reading about half of the site because the white text on black background is very very visually disturbing. I bet many visually impaired people (which I am not) would have problems.

For the sake of our sanity, can you do something about it?

Thanks
