People remember Goshman for his salt & pepper shakers, Norm Nielsen for the coin ladder and floating violin………..and anyone that’s been around long enough will remember Chris for his coins through silk. As Dominic states, Chris has really made this trick his own.
This clip is also a master class for all of us re: timing. It demonstrates beautifully the correct PACE that tricks of this nature need to be deployed in order for the full effect to sink in with the audience. Note how each phase gets a great reaction, rather than just a smattering of polite applause at the end.
An absolutely beautiful performance by Chris Power. Many thanks for posting it here.
Well, that’s just lovely.
Is Chris stilll doing this?
It really speaks volumes to Vernon’s advice about taking a trick and making it your own.
