Chris Power
Chris Power has performed and lectured worldwide and has gained acclaim for his unique brand of laid back magic. He is one of the founders of the underground magic publication Opus and as a keen artist contributed to its eclectic visual style. Along with the magazine he produced six outstanding Opus conferences with his long-term collaborator JJ, these are still widely regarded as a benchmark for other events in the magic world and he is delighted and honored to be speaking at the prestigious EMC this year.

JJ has had a lifetime in Magic. A former children’s magician… resident close up magician in 1977 before the Brits knew what “close up” was. Lectured and performed all over the world with Chris Power in the “Laid Back Magic” Lecture. Corporate magician for companies such as Kodak, Bosch, BMW, Mercedes etc. Street performer, working with Noel Britten on the Bizarre Bath Comedy Walk for the last twenty years. Co-founder of this Magazine and co-organiser of the Isle of Man Magic conventions. Currently working with Luis de Matos Productions Portugal.
